6061 and 6063 Aluminum Square Tubing

Aluminum is offered in a variety of extrusions including square tubing. Aluminum square tubing is lightweight and has a high relative strength.  

One of the most popular grades of aluminum square tubing is 6061 and 6063. Aluminum is a heat treatable alloy with magnesium and silicon as the main alloy.   Aluminum Square Tube is measured by taking the outer walls (which are the same size) and then the wall thickness.

Applications includes trailers, barriers, framing, bike racks, home construction and many more.

Aluminum Square Tube is used in general fabrication where strength is a requirement without the added weight of steel.
