Metal Service Centers provide customers with readily available aluminum, stainless steel, and other metals inventory and processing. Bayou Metal Supply & Manufacturing and Manufacturing focuses on meeting customer needs of metals in the marine, defense and fabrication industries. We provide inventory management services, and value-added metals processing, such as precision router cutting with CNC routers, press breaks, machine shop, welding and fabrication shop, precision cutting and more, before distributing these products to manufacturers and other end-users.  We are looking for an Inside Sales Representative who is competitive, self-disciplined and lives for the thrill of building rapport with customers and fellow teammates.

Responsibilities

▪ Processes customer quotes, orders, makes sales calls and work to establish relationships.

▪ Develop and educate customers on Bayou’s full capabilities

▪ Proactive problem solver who ask the right questions, listen to your customer’s needs to provide them with solutions tailored to fit their timetable and budget.

▪ Work with different departments to execute account development plans.

▪ Work within established procedures with a moderate degree of supervision.

▪ Prioritize and multitask position responsibilities to maximize the customer’s experience

▪ Other duties as assigned by management and supervisors

Position Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree preferred, comparable experience will be considered
– Prior sales or industry experience is preferred

– Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a rapidly changing environment
– Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills required
– Proficiency within Microsoft applications (Outlook, Excel, Word) required
– Positive attitude, competitive, goal-oriented, driven with a passion to excel
– Flexible and solutions-oriented with a high degree of business ethics
